We
heard about Shucks through some people at Betty’s RV Park and checked out
online reviews, and decided lunch there would be a good idea. We for there around noonish and the place was
packed – and it’s not the only restaurant in Abbeville.
We
ate at the bar since we were hungry and there was a wait for a table. We asked the gentleman sitting next to us to
explain the menu to us a bit (for example, the difference between a jumbo and
etoufee). Brad decided to go for the Crawfish Etoufee as it was a specialty,
and Suzanne tried the crab cakes. Both of the meals were very good, although a
bit spendy (mostly due to Suzanne’s crab cake order). This
was definitely the place to go while in town!
Easy and affordable - no matter where you are!
