Today we took a hike just a bit north of Rocky Harbour called Bakers Brook Falls, a 10 km round trip to some waterfalls. The hike was along both wooden boardwalks and dirt path.
Eventually we made it to the three lookouts for the falls...
Lookout #1:
Lookout #2 was through some very muddy areas....
....and had the best views - we even took a 10 second video of it 😀
Lookout #3:
(Notice how red the water looks - there is a lot of iron in the land here.)
On our way back to the parking lot - far, far away - we saw a moose. Not a terrible picture considering it's with our cell.
We then took a quick stop at Norris Point and headed back to our Airbnb and called it a day. Time to do laundry, organize, and pack - we are off to another part of Newfoundland tomorrow!
