We spent the afternoon exploring
Mystic, CT and its neighbor town Stonington. Both are quaint coastal towns with
a unique shops and restaurants. We
really enjoyed meandering and driving around looking at all the architecture of
the homes, the narrow roads, the rock walls, the traditional “New England-ness”
of it all. We also happened upon MysticPizza – the setting for the 1988 movie by the same name, starring Julia
Roberts. Of course we had some of their pizza – it was quite good.
