KOA Campground, Woodstock, New Hampshire

Well, after three weeks in Maine, we’ve made it to New Hampshire and are staying at the KOA in Woodstock. We’re not huge KOA fans – they tend to be expensive and very family-oriented, but this was the best campground in this area, which is in the heart of the White Mountains.

Although there are a few full hook-up sites, we have only electric and water (military showers, anyone?) and it’s $44/night, plus $3 for the dog, which we didn’t know when we made the reservation.  In 12 years of RVing, this is only the 2nd or 3rd time we’ve had to pay extra for a dog, and it just rubs us the wrong way, especially at $44/night! Oh well…whatever.  But it does seem to be a nice enough campground that will fit our needs for a few days.

Oh, still haven’t seen a moose, but signs like these do keep our hopes and dream alive! :-)

Easy and affordable - no matter where you are!
