Our first
stop was Wind Canyon Trail where we were able to look over the Little Missouri
River onto the badland of Theodore Roosevelt National Park –
we even saw a herd
of bison in the far distance.
We then saw a
dirt road and decided to take it and see where it led us, well, there were
three antelope in the distance – pretty cool!
We continued
along the park road to Coal View Trail and ran into (not literally) another
herd of bison – some pics of the family……..
The ‘ole girl
clearly did not like sharing the road!
We then took
a short hike along Ridgeline Trail, with great views, some cool grasses and
another view of more wild horses.
Easy and affordable - no matter where you are!
