We slept great again - we kept getting about 9 to 10 hours of sleep each night, which is awesome! It is very quiet here, even given the number of rigs. We decided to stay in Alesund for the day and stay in this “campground” for a second night. (This ended up being the only time we stayed two nights in a row in the same spot.)
We had a slow start to the morning – we hung out in rig
having tea and coffee then breakfast. Eventually we meander around town – it’s cute.
We watched a guy selling raw and cooked crab claws - looked like stone crab.
We spent a few hours wandering the town, eventually having lunch - and then a
sweet and coffee - at a bakery.
Back to rig for a nap (yep – even after sleeping for nine hours! 😁) and then…showers!
As usual, we talked about what to do over the next few days
as the rain should break in another 2-3 days. We enjoyed dinner in town and
chatted with a guy from Trondheim.
While hanging out that evening, we saw the crab-selling guy laying traps......
