Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Medora, North Dakota

When we were workamping last summer at Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota, we wanted to come to Theodore Roosevelt National Park, but it was about a six hour drive, so too much for us in a weekend, and once our workamping job was finished on September 30th, it was too cold up here for us, plus we were heading in a different direction. We definitely wanted to come here while heading back to Oregon, so here we are!

The campground is quite nice – much more treed than we expected. There are some larger sites for big rigs, all dry camping, and only $10/night. There is a $10 fee to enter the park as well. This will be a nice place to be out of the towns, certainly quiet, and we’re hoping to see some wildlife as well.

Reminder ~ our rig and truck are for sale! Go to http://rvandtruckforsale.blogspot.com/ for information and feel free to pass along or post to your own blog/Facebook/etc..

Easy and affordable - no matter where you are!
