The Smithsonain Castle & Hirshhorn Museum, Washington, DC

The Smithsonian Castle is the original Smithsonian, now an information center, shop, and quite nice restaurant (we ate lunch here twice so far). It also has lovely gardens.
The Hirshhorn Museum is a museum of modern art and contemporary sculpture.  We enjoyed this (Suzanne more than Brad), but besides appreciating the art, it’s always fun to think….seriously?!

So, yeah.....a green triangle......in the Smithsonian.....quick, paint a red square!

Art or chairs???  Art, believe it or not! Nah, these were just chairs. (We think.)

Ideas what to do with all those drycleaning hangers.....

Yeah, so, um, we each had one of these in college......again, art?

A pile of clothes. Who knew that every night Brad creates art with his pile on his side of the bed?

Red sweatshirts.  So does this mean our closet is art? How about the clothes hanging on the door knob?

Easy and affordable - no matter where you are!
