Fancy Gap KOA ~ Fancy Gap, Virginia

We normally do not stay at KOA’s, but this one was right on our path, so we’re here for a few nights. It’s a nice campground and doesn’t have the KOA “feel” (i.e. lots of kids, kids’ stuff, kids’ activities, etc…). In fact, there are very few people here and none with children. It’s a well-maintained campground, all full hook-up sites with cable and WiFi. There’s a dog park, swimming pool, a small activity room, the usual. The campground is built on different tiers, so it’s rather different.

There doesn’t appear to be much to do in Fancy Gap, but the Blue Ridge Parkway is close and we’re looking forward to getting back on track with hiking and exploring.
Easy and affordable - no matter where you are!
