Cherry Hill Park, College Park, Maryland

We got on the road early today knowing we’d have a long drive today, a bit over 200 miles to our planned destination. We planned to stay at the Elks Lodge in Alexandria, VA for our visit to the Washington D.C. area, but when we got there - no way! It was dumpy, no RV electric (just the typical outside electrical cord plug-in), strange area, and just yuck! So onto Plan B – Cherry Hill Park in Maryland - nice, good location, safe, but expensive at$56/night even with a Good Sam discount! Oh well, it’s much nicer, set-up for RV’s, safer for us and the dog, and even has bus service to the Metro station for our forays into DC. So we’ll be much happier here……at least until the credit card bill arrives!:-)
Easy and affordable - no matter where you are!
