We had a wonderful week in Austin
~ seeing old and new friends, checking out the old places we used to live and
work, stuff like that. We’ve eaten a ton ~ BBQ and good ‘ole Tex-Mex, and
enjoyed a few Marguerita’s along the way! :-)
Austin is MUCH bigger than when we lived here in the
mid-90’s ~ more humid as well, although we did get a few rain showers while
here. We had forgotten how pretty is was
– lots of greenery and blooming flowers. Nice diversity of people as well. We
enjoyed our stay (albeit a bit hot & humid for us) and look forward to
passing through again someday.
But for now, we’re back on the road……………..
