Phoenix Art Museum, Mesa, Arizona

We went to the Phoenix Art Museum as it was free under Bank of America’s Museums on Us program.  (If you recall, we were able to go to The Living Desert using the same program.)  We had a nice time and very much enjoyed the multiple exhibits, such as the Frank Lloyd Wright Organic Architecture for the 21^st Century tour,the Giorgio di Sant’ Angelo collection (the great Lena Horne wore these dresses)

and the museums own collections of American, Western American, Asian, European, Latin American, and Modern & Contemporary Art. Some of the art was questionable to us, such as this contemporary piece ~ 

it basically was small nails in the wall.

Yet other art was quite cool such as the Swarm of Fireflies Light Display.
